The Suburban reported on July 1, 2004, that the Old Bridge Zoning Board of Adjustment approved the construction of a 61-unit apartment building.
The apartment building will provide an independent living area for individuals and their families who suffer from traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis or muscular dystrophy. The rent stabilized facility will be the first of its type in Middlesex County, making Old Bridge one of New Jersey’s few municipalities which provides such services to brain injured people.
