U.S. Soccer Federation Statement on Head Injuries in Soccer and Padded Headgear
Below is a link to the United States Soccer Federation, Sports Medicine Committee's statement on head injuries in soccer. In the statement, the Sports Medicine Committee states that it finds no evidence that wearing this sort of headgear is beneficial to players, and is concerned that it might actually lead to more injuries.
