New film documents Middleton family's struggles with brain injury

When Kori Feener, a 2002 graduate of Masconomet High School, learned of her classmate who had taken a 30-foot fall from an escalator while in a Denver, CO airport, Kori knew she had to do something. Pat Killelea sustained multiple and very severe injuries during the fall and now requires full-time home care and is limited to the use of his wheel chair.

Kori decided to chronicle Pat's story and turn it into a documentary in hopes of educating people while also raising money for the Killelea family. Pat's mother took an extended leave of absence from her job to care for Pat, and after she decided to return to her job full time, Pat's siblings took turns taking semester off from school to be home and help care for their brother.

Kori's documentary, "Where There Is A Will," is an inspirational film scheduled to premier this weekend at a fundraiser at the Masconomet High School in Massachusetts. Feener just hopes the skills she learned while earning a film and media arts degree at the University of Tampa can be useful in helping this cause.
