Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital to Expand Brain Injury Unit
Bryn Mawr Rehab in Pennsylvania has just started expansion and renovation on their brain injury unit. According to the The Daily Local News Online, the project was spurred by the fact that the hospital has had a 50 percent increase in patients with brain injuries over the past few years. Among the additions will be 12 beds (there are currently 29), a gym, an intensive monitoring suite, and an expanded family lounge. They expect to complete construction in early 2007. The expansion will give the hospital the ability to provide the best possible care.
