Brain Injury Basics for Families to be Held in Sussex Cuonty
The Brain Injury Association of New Jersey will hold a free educational session Brain Injury Basics For Families in Sussex County. The program will be held Monday December 10, 2007 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Newton Memorial Hospital, located at 175 High Street in Newton, New Jersey.
The program offers families of those suffering from a traumatic brain injury information on education and prevention activities related to brain injury. This session will feature Peggy DiTommaso, MSW, who has volunteered her time to be a Brain Injury Association of New Jersey Affiliated Support Group Leader for more than 17 years. The session will also include a question and answer portion designed to address some of the more common topics associated with brain injuries, including common effects of brain injury, strategies and tips for caregivers, and what resources are available to help them in New Jersey.
